  Do not underestimate the stupidity of people.

  A huge percentage of people never look into/research *anything* they are told by an authority figure, or what they get in viral emails/facebook posts.

  Look at what is popular on TV. Look at the insipid phone games people spend money on. Look at the most popular people on YouTube and Vine.

  The next generation will be even worse.

  so many questions...link? "going to be allowed.." was it not before? allowed by whom? "sounded like a wind up first of all?"

  I don't know what to make at all of that last sentence.

  Are you referring to the three week old story regarding the Satanic Temple making plans to hand out literature in Orange County Public Schools as a form of protest to other religious groups allowed to hand out bibles, etc?

  i came across this video ... and watched it ... why?

  i don't know really, but i found it intersting.. especially interesting was how these men used the bible, they knew their message, they used an actual hard copy bible that has obviously been studied, and the older jw man, well, he was using a tablet.

  it seemed cumbersome compared to using the actual bible.

  over $500 to itunes.

  questioned everyone, and it's for "jewels" for a kim kardashian game my 13 year old charged.

  on october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, founder of the watchtower, announced that the gentile times have ended!.

  tomorrow will be exactly 100 years since his historic announcment.. to commemorate this centennial occasion, i will gladly take bets in any amount of money that the world will not end tomorrow and that on friday, october 3rd, 2014 gmt, we will still all be here, for better or worse.. any die-hard jws interested in taking the other side of this friendly little wager?

  Why I hate Tuesdays

  all throughout my life tuesdays were my meeting nights.

  well tuesdays and thursdays to be more precise, when we had book study but book study was at my house so it wasn't terrible.

  anyways as a kid i hated coming home from school, doing homework and then going to the meetings.

  Something like The Waltons, set in another era, has a timeless quality.

  Shows set in contemporary times become really dated after a couple decades; especially if they are trying to be hip or futuristic.

  Ah, the pre-VCR meeting nights. I never saw any of these shows as a kid because they were always on Tues or Thurs nights
